Grey District Council / Monteith’s
Directed by marketing guru, Sonya Matthews (A.K.A Expert Schemer), I thoroughly enjoyed the artistic component when we teamed up to create this awesome Greymouth Map.
It involved two watercolour paintings for the background and hand-drawn buildings and streets.
I used Google Earth (with quite a bit of artistic license) to achieve the overall aspect or view of the land.
The concept was to tell a visitor to Greymouth what the locals already knew - such as where to get the best coffee, fish & chips or beer (Monteith’s of course!).
The text content was in a down-to-earth ‘kiwi’ voice and written and supplied by Sonya.
It was printed locally in Greymouth on an environmentally responsible 100% recycled paper stock at A3 size.
